As agreed at the recent ORSA AGM in Auckland, ORSA is holding a fundraising raffle each quarter in 2010 to assist us in bringing a former player down under in the future.
All proceeds of the prize raffles go to ORSA (less prize costs and postage expenses) and will be credited to the ORSA bank account. We hope to have some unusual and unique prizes on offer throughout the year to keep you all interested and at $5 AUD per entry it's cheaper than a pint! Entries can be bought online here or from your ORSA club representative at any of the upcoming matches until the draw.
The draw will be made at half-time on Wednesday 5th May against Celtic to give you plenty of time to enter.
The 'For it is old but it is beautiful' raffle prizes are:
1. Signed copy of the Colin Colin Colin Stein book 'Shooting Star' 2. Signed Paul Le Guen Rangers Shirt (Collector's item) 3. ORSA polo top (old version)
If purchasing throughthe Brisbane RSC shop, your raffle number will be generated in the cart view, and will be visible on your confirmation. This number will be placed in the draw, for each of your purchased entries.
Good luck and we hope that you will all give this your full support!
PS. The raffle is open to all bears and bearettes, ORSA affilliated or not!

Dennis and Andy represented Brisbane RSC at the recent ORSA AGM 2010 in Auckland.
The lads had a great time meeting and mingling with bears and bearettes from all over Australia and NZ. Apart from the good company, great tunes and excellent entertainment there was some formal business also attended to which has some good news for Brisbane RSC. Andy McKnight was voted on as ORSA secretary until 2012, Gary Love was voted in as ORSA rep for Queensland and Kim Nelson will take up the post of ORSA Webmaster.
Brisbane RSC continues to be active in ensuring that all bears in the ORSA region have a voice at Ibrox and its a credit to the club that they've been considered for these roles.
On behalf of all of Brisbane RSC, we wish them well in their roles and hope that they can move forward with the mandate set by the ORSA membership. A copy of the ORSA AGM minutes will be circulated shortly detailing the motions passed as a mandate for the ORSA committee. A short summary will be sent to the RSC members with the key points.
They say every picture tells it's own story and by the looks of these everyone enjoyed Saturday night - a few pics and clips for your viewing pleasure. Check out those fa fa fina's and the amazing Flute Band and Raratonga drummers mash up!

Eventually we managed to get the Player of the Year Award for last season to Madjid and he was delighted to receive it, although a little bit shocked that fans from Australia had picked him as their POY saying “you don't expect Rangers fans from so far away to elect you as the best player in the team and then go to the trouble of sending a gift to me, it is wonderful”.
The reason for the Editor in Chief (Lindsay Herron) of the Rangers website and News presenting Brisbane’s RSC POY award to Madjid was simply down to Madjid being the last man in for training that day, in fact most of the team were already out on the pitch warming up before Madjid eventually arrived for training.

Announcement | merchandise Brisbane RSC is proud to announce our new merchandise range for season 2009/10, the RSC Retro Tee and the RSC Summer Bucket hat.
Both items are available in blue and white and various sizes (pink is also available for the ladies).
The first batch flew out the door at the recent Celt c match, and we are ready to submit another order so now is a good time to drop us a line! Both items can be ordered through our online Shop, or alternatively at any of the upcoming games (see Events).
The Retro Tee is smaller in size than the Classic Polo, so bear that in mind when ordering (an XL in the Retro Tee is roughly equivalent to a M in the Classic Polo).
