Tipping

With only one weekend set of fixtures remaining to played in the SPL for the 2nd Quarter, the time has come for all involved to get thinking and come up with their predictions for the 3rd Quarter Tipping.

Things have been very close throughout all of the 2nd Quarter with Simon and his team of Pelly Wallies managing to gain top spot and stay there through most of Q2 with young Ami and her Love's 11 in close persuit. Who will top the table for Q2?

You now have the chance to come up with your fixtures for Q3 which could get you up into contention for the all important (and shorter Q4) or even just become the tops point scorer in Q3.

All involved should now have recieved an email with the Q3 excel spreadsheet for you to fill in and send back asap.

So don't delay and get your Tipping filled in and sent back to avoid losing out on points.

If you are involved and haven't recieved a Q3 email then please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Christmas Day Out PDF Print E-mail

The Brisbane RSC had its first Christmas Day out at Southbank on Sunday 14th December 2008.

With the Brisbane summer in full swing the RSC met up at the Beach at Southbank in the City. There was a few hangovers from the previous nights game against Dundee United but a lovely spot with some shade was soon found to set up a picnic area. As the temperature soared (far to hot for even Santa to pay a visit) the nearby beach and water play area came in very usefull to cool down.

We would just like to thank all those who came along to make it a really good day.

It feels like an age since we last watched the Rangers, firstly with the Internationals then the postponed game last week.

To make up for it we are planning to get everyone together at around eight on Saturday night at the Pig Eagle Street to sink a few beers and catch up before the game starts at 2130.

This is the last early kick off before the clocks go changing back home, so it would be great to see as many of you along as possible!

For those who have not yet joined up, memberships sign ups will be getting done on the night. We also have some new merchandise on offer too.

Looking forward to a great turn out on Saturday and hopefully another 3 points on the board.

Got nervous energy to burn prior to the Old Firm KO on Sunday?

Well we suggest you head to Perry Park for the QSL Grand Final featuring Stuart Mclaren's Brisbane Strikers and Sunshine Coast FC. The game KO's at 1pm and the prices are from $5 which is a bargain (or free if you've got a Roar ticket). This is Stuart's first season as player-coach and we wish him every success in what will also be his final appearance before he hangs up his boots.

If that's not enough our mates Lawrie McKinna and 9IAR legend Ian Ferguson will be in town to battle it out with our other ex-Gers Charlie Miller and Craig Moore as the Roar taken on Central Coast Mariners at Suncorp at 5pm.

We wish all the old Gers boys well and that we can all be celebrating by the end of the night!
