Runaway Bay Rangers, Gold Coast (a football team of over 30's expat bears) would like to invite any local or travelling bluenoses to a wee christmas in July pre-Sydney party which will take place at Runaway Bay Soccer Club, Playing Fields Lae Drive (opposite Shopping Centre) on Saturday 24th July.
The party will include a wee world cup themed five's kick about for the lads from 11am , bouncy castle and face painting for the kids and of course a very special guest of Mr S Claus who's holidaying on the Gold Coast. The Runaway Bay Rangers will also have a fundraising raffle on the day in aid of young mum who's recently been struck down with breast cancer. A special prize of a signed Rangers top is up for grabs with tickets are $10 each. Bring a plate and and esky and come along and join the fun.

This year FFUD (Football Fans Down Under) will be holding a Six-A-Side Tournament on 9th October 2010 at Slacks Creek Football Club. Brisbane RSC participated in last years event and are looking at entering 2 teams into this years event. If last year is anything to go by it will be a great day. Pre-Sale tickets have NOW gone on sale.
Click link above which will take you into ticket sales, select which match and then select RANGERS SUPPORTERS in ticket type to access tickets in the Rangers Supporters section otherwise you will get general entry. There seems to be no block tournament tickets (3 day) for any of the supporters sections, which is a pity as it is a saving of $45 over the 3 games. It looks like you will need to purchase each game separately to be seated in the Rangers section.
The cost of the Rangers Supporters Section tickets are $65 each and it seems to be Bay 21 for 25/7 (Blackburn), Bay 2 for 28/7 (Sydney FC) & Bay 4 for 31/7 (Athens).

The end of season Player of the year Bash will be held at Mint Indian Restaurant, Fortitude Valley on Saturday 8th May at 7.00pm sharp.
The RSC package is $30 which includes buffet meal, welcome drinks and special prizes! RSC members, guests and any bluenoses who wish to come along are most welcome! Monies to be paid in advance to the RSC bank a/c.

This month the SPL Champions will touch down in Sydney and if you have somehow forgotten the games are below:
Sunday 25 July:
Game 1 at 12:45pm – Sydney FC v AEK Athens
Game 2 at 3pm – Blackburn Rovers v Glasgow Rangers
Wednesday 28 July:
Game 3 at 6pm – AEK Athens FC v Blackburn Rovers
Game 4 at 8:15pm – Sydney FC v Glasgow Rangers
Saturday 31 July:
Game 5 at 5pm – AEK Athens FC v Glasgow Rangers
Game 6 at 7:15pm – Sydney FC v Blackburn Rovers

 This year we will be having our annual Brisbane RSC Golf Day on Sunday 29th August at Wolston Park Golf Club.
This has been reschedule from 25th July due to the "Festival of Football" in Sydney

As usual the format will be a 4 ball Ambrose which for those non golfers out there is when all players tee off, the best shot is selected and all players hit again from that same spot. The best second shot is selected, and all players hit from that same spot, and so on until the ball is holed."
This always makes for a great day of golf no matter what level of golfer you may or may not be and as usual there will be prizes for best team and other competitions throughout the day.
The cost per person for this event is a very reasonable $60 for which you get: 18 Holes of Golf, Motorised Cart, 3 Pinnacle Golf Balls, Burger, and 2 Drinks from Bar
For those that don't own their own golf clubs sets can be hired at Wolston on the day for $20.
This event is open to all blue noses in the Brisbane area wether you are a member of Brisbane RSC or not. This event is always popular and numbers on the day will have to be limited to keep the day running smoothly. If you are interested or if you have any further questions then please reply to
